IEML to organise IHE’s 2nd essay in Greater Noida between August 7 & 10

The second essay of India International Hospitality Expo (IHE19) is slated to take place at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida, between August 7 and 10, 2019. Organised by India Expo Mart Ltd, the event is expected to witness the participation of 650 exhibitors and 15,000 decision-makers.

The travel and tourism industry plays a significant part in India’s economy. According to a report by KPMG, the country’s hospitality sector is expected to grow at a CAGR (compound annual growth rate) of 16.1 per cent to reach Rs 2,796.9 thousand crore in 2022.

Being a sector with such massive potential, there is an alarming absence of an international platform that showcases the country’s potential in the diverse segments of hospitality sectors. The ongoing shows primarily cater to masses but lack more advantageous B2B (business-to-business) conversations with bankable customers.

This urgency being the driving factor, India International Hospitality Expo 18 was launched with the concept of revolutionising the exposition scene and for building India’s biggest business-centric hospitality show. Rakesh Kumar, chairman, IEML, and executive director, EPCH, said, “Our vision now is to make IHE Asia’s biggest hospitality show.”
