Hapman to showcase CablePro Tubular Drag Conveyor at ‘The Almond Conference 2025’

Kalamazoo, USA
Hapman, a global leader in custom bulk material handling solutions, will participate in The Almond Conference 2025, scheduled from December 10–12 in Sacramento, California. The company will exhibit at Booth 420, where it will highlight its advanced CablePro Tubular Drag Conveyor, engineered to meet the rigorous demands of food and ingredient processing industries.

Known for its gentle, clean and efficient conveying capabilities, the CablePro system is designed for transporting delicate products such as nuts, grains, cereals, frozen foods, and pet food. Built with FDA-compliant components, the conveyor includes food-grade coatings and durable stainless-steel tubing, ensuring product safety and adherence to sanitation standards central to the food and beverage sector.

One of the standout features of the CablePro is its self-lubricating UHMW disks, injection-molded directly onto a pre-stretched, food-grade oil-lubricated stainless-steel braided cable with a nylon coating. This unique construction supports product integrity by reducing breakage and contamination risks during transfer.

For enhanced visibility and flexibility, the conveyor is offered with either all-metal or clear sight glass inspection tubes. A suite of integrated cleaning accessories including wiper disks, scraper disks, brush boxes, air knives, and single-use sponge disks—helps operators maintain strict hygiene levels. The system’s sealed design with integral drains supports Clean-In-Place (CIP) protocols, further reducing downtime associated with sanitation.

The CablePro incorporates a standard auto-tensioner, maintaining optimal cable tension and extending the life of both cable and disks while lowering maintenance demands. To simplify installation, the tubing is pre-cut, sanitary-flanged, and match-marked, ensuring faster assembly. Optional sanitary flanged connections provide a fully seated tube end with a tight gap fit, helping prevent material harborage and contamination. For on-site customization, standard tube lengths can be field-cut and joined using compression couplers.

The conveyor seamlessly integrates with other Hapman systems, including Bulk Bag Unloaders, Bulk Bag Fillers, PosiPortion feeders, and SolidQuid liquid-solid mixing systems, offering manufacturers a unified solution for greater productivity and quality control.

With over 80 years of expertise, Hapman continues to support global manufacturers with dependable material handling equipment. Its participation in The Almond Conference 2025 reaffirms its commitment to advancing ingredient handling, process automation, and operational safety within the food processing ecosystem.
