Mengniu Yourui & TSI Group advance next-generation healthy aging solutions
Monday, 29 June, 2026, 08 : 00 AM [IST]
Shanghai, China
The Adult Sarcopenia Nutrition Guidelines (2026 Edition) position muscle health and mobility as priorities, making their maintenance a central public health focus for middle-aged and older adults. Amid this shift, Mengniu Yourui announced a comprehensive upgrade to its Bone Strength Golden Formula. The updated formulation is built on the latest advances in elderly mobility nutrition and features its myHMB for muscle support.

This development reflects its efforts to translate cutting-edge scientific research into a systematic, daily nutrition solution—establishing a more complete mobility nutrition framework and raising the bar for the healthy aging category in China.

The launch also highlights a broader industry shift toward multi-dimensional, science-backed formulations designed to support independence and quality of life in aging populations. Increasingly, leading companies are moving beyond basic supplementation toward precision mobility nutrition, integrating muscle, bone and joint health.

Mobility—the ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and go outdoors—is one of the most tangible health indicators for older adults. It directly affects the stability, reliability and quality of daily life in later years. Protecting mobility is, at its core, supporting quality of life and independence of middle-aged and elderly populations.

While calcium supplementation has historically defined the senior nutrition category, emerging research and the Adult Sarcopenia Nutrition Guidelines (2026 Edition) point to muscle preservation as a critical factor in reducing fall risk, supporting strength and maintaining daily function.

Yan Zhiyuan, Mengniu group vice president and milk powder division head, said, “In the face of the complex challenge of elderly nutrition, enterprises must not simply follow trends. Instead, they must rely on the ‘conviction of long-termism’ and the ‘sharpness of independent innovation’, persisting on a path of research that is difficult but correct.”
