Sormac, a leading technology manufacturer for the fresh produce processing proudly debuts four cutting-edge innovations at their stand C-40 in hall 1.1 at Fruit Logistica 2025, February 5 to 7, in Berlin, Germany. In addition, the company will showcase technology upgrades and a wide range of its trusted equipment for the processing of carrots, onions, peppers, melons and many more.
Focusing on high hygienic standards, less manual labour, and premium product quality, it launches a new fully automatic robotic pepper corer PCR. The PCR processes bell peppers from singulation and orientation to de-coring and portioning in a continuous and fully automated way. Optionally, the peppers can be cut in slices, rings, wedges and cubes. The PepperCorer Robotic has a capacity of up to 2,500 pieces per hour.
Expanding its technology offer in cutting, the company introduces the new three-dimensional vegetable dice cutter DC-145. The new machine is versatile and easy-to-use, and offers premium cutting quality. It supports dice, stick and slice cuts in various sizes. With its 400 mm drum diameter, the DC-145 features the largest drum in its class. Thanks to the easy-to-use touchscreen HMI, operators will be able to set up the slice thickness digitally with high precision, without the need of mechanical adjustments. The new dice cutter has a capacity of to 6,000 kilogram per hour depending on the application.
At the fair it also debuts two brand new solutions that utilise imaging technology. Firstly, OptiView a hygienic camera system benefiting production quality, process control, and troubleshooting on the production floor. Secondly, OptiPro - a visual automation system for processing lines that recognises whether the product on the line meets the specified recipe so that actions are automatically triggered. Both innovations contribute to higher productivity and production quality.
Visitors at the booth will also get acquainted with the newly redesigned vertical vegetable centrifuge FC-540 and the upgraded slice and wedge cutter FS-3600 MultiSystem.
Roy Lemmen, sales director at Sormac, said, “We are delighted to invite all fresh produce processors to visit us at stand C-40 in hall 1.1 and discover more about our latest innovations, experience live demonstrations, and directly engage with our experts. We are looking forward to share knowledge and network with our customers from the fruit and vegetables sector."
