Unlock growth in Singapore’s F&B industry with Tetra Pak
Friday, 30 May, 2025, 15 : 00 PM [IST]
Singapore
Tetra Pak, a world-leading food processing and packaging solutions company, invites food and beverage leaders to THAIFEX - Anuga Asia 2025, to discover and unlock growth through its end-to-end range of innovative solutions.

Positioned as Asia's most influential platform for food and beverage innovation and industry-defining partnerships, THAIFEX - Anuga Asia 2025 is an ideal opportunity for F&B manufacturers and brands to discover its growth-enabling solutions that directly address emerging consumer preferences across key categories, particularly in ready-to-drink (RTD) coffee, food supplement nutrition, and shelf-stable food products.

As Singapore strengthens its position as Asia’s launchpad for food innovation, the company’s participation at THAIFEX - Anuga Asia 2025 highlights its commitment to shaping the future of food manufacturing in the region. Since 2016, Singapore’s Food Manufacturing Industry Transformation Map 2025, has driven progress across the value chain, from launching over 650 new products through FoodInnovate to enabling nearly 480 automation and digitalisation projects. Backed by world-class R&D capabilities, progressive regulations and deep consumer insight partnerships, Singapore has become the testing ground of choice for global brands entering Asia. With 80% of Singaporeans willing to pay more for low-carbon options and more consumers shifting toward mostly plant-based diets, the company is uniquely positioned to help F&B brands meet evolving demands with speed, resilience and impact.

Under the theme ‘Unlocking Growth’, the company's exhibition will feature three distinct concepts – Innovate to Elevate, Differentiate to Stand out, and Optimise for Efficiency, representing strategic pillars that drive growth in the food and beverage industry.

The Innovate to Elevate Zone showcases the company's collaborative approach to product development, showing the journey from consumer insights to market-ready innovations. Visitors will experience how proprietary tools like Demand Space and Trendipedia transform opportunities identified into innovative product concepts. The zone also features its ingredient solutions for on-trend categories with interactive displays demonstrating how its Customer Innovation Centre (CIC) and Product Development Centre (PDC) serve as enablers that transform these concepts into reality.

At the heart of this experience is the interactive Tasting Bar, where visitors can sample RTD coffee, ready-to-eat meals, and nutritional supplement beverages—all product types that have growing demand among Singaporean consumers. Singapore’s $12 billion soft drinks market has seen a 16% surge in low-sugar tea sales, highlighting a shift towards functional and health-conscious beverages. The company’s support in developing beverages with added probiotics, vitamins, and minerals positions it as a valuable partner for Singaporean brands responding to increasingly discerning health-focused consumers.

The Differentiate to Stand out zone spotlights its innovative aseptic carton packaging portfolio, including Tetra Prisma Aseptic for premium on-the-go beverages and Tetra Recart for food products that offer advantages such as lighter weight, better convenience, improved environmental performance, and omnichannel retail compatibility. The sustainable packaging portfolio also includes innovative bio-based caps and carton packages made from plant-based materials, enabling brands to elevate consumer experiences while addressing environmental challenges. These solutions align with growing sustainability preferences in Singapore. According to a 2023 study by the Singapore Environment Council, 65% of Singaporeans are concerned about the environmental impact of their food choices, with many prioritising brands that reflect their environmental values.

The Optimise for Efficiency zone highlights the company's advanced production technologies and digital solutions that enhance manufacturing processes and product quality. The company's automation and digitalisation systems provide real-time monitoring capabilities, supporting smart, scalable operations while reducing energy consumption and waste during production.

Complementing the exhibition, the company will deliver an exclusive 30-minute presentation at the Future Food Experience+ panel. Drawing from its Trendipedia 2025 report, the session will explore two out of six consumer trends that are reshaping the future of the food and beverage industry: Green by Default and Hyper Convenience. Attendees will also discover how these emerging consumer behaviours can translate into market-ready opportunities for businesses.

John Jose, marketing director, Tetra Pak, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and Indonesia, said, Across Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Indonesia, consumers are increasingly seeking healthier, more sustainable and convenient food and beverage options. These trends are reshaping how brands approach product development across the region. At Tetra Pak, we work closely with our customers to turn insights into action by offering end-to-end support that spans ideation, testing and scaling. THAIFEX - Anuga Asia 2025 is an exciting platform for us to showcase how we help brands unlock new growth opportunities and bring relevant, future-ready innovations to market.”
