Ajay’s Cafe, a quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand specialising in vegetarian offerings, has launched Barbeque Fries, introducing a smoky and tangy flavour to its existing menu.

The Barbeque Fries feature a crispy texture complemented by bold barbeque seasoning, combining smoky, tangy and mildly spicy notes. The launch aims to cater to consumers seeking new flavour experiences in familiar snack categories while maintaining affordability.

Ajay Solanki, founder & director, Ajay’s Café, said, “Fries are a much-loved part of the quick-service food experience, but customers are increasingly looking for new flavours. With Barbeque Fries, we have launched a flavour that is bold, smoky, tangy and easy to enjoy. We have kept the offering simple and accessible at Rs 70, while ensuring the taste and consistency that our customers have come to expect from Ajay’s Café.”

The launch adds a flavour-led option to the brand’s fries portfolio, reflecting its focus on product innovation within the affordable QSR segment.

Founded in Navsari, Gujarat, in 2014, it has expanded from a single outlet to a network of more than 286 outlets across 67 cities in Gujarat and Rajasthan. Gujarat remains its largest market, while the brand is also pursuing expansion into new geographies.

Recently, its cafe entered Maharashtra with two outlets in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The company plans to expand its presence in the State to 30 outlets over the next year, as it seeks to strengthen its footprint in the Indian QSR market.
