Kkhavo, a new premium health & nutrition brand, has announced its launch in India with a vision to bring authentic, thoughtfully sourced and nutritionally relevant foods to modern consumers. Built around ‘Nothing Hidden. Nothing Compromised’, the brand combines India’s food heritage with modern expectations of nutrition, transparency, quality and preventive wellness. It is developing a portfolio of clean-label foods, heritage staples and nutrition-led products, focusing on traceable sourcing, farmer relationships, responsible agricultural practices and stringent quality controls. Beginning with heritage grains, the brand plans to expand into premium foods, functional foods and nutraceuticals. Transparency remains central to its approach, with detailed disclosure of nutritional composition and quality parameters, supported by extensive testing to help consumers make informed choices. Its first offering, premium Kala Namak rice, is a GI-registered heritage grain cultivated for over 2,500 years in Uttar Pradesh’s Terai region. Known for its distinctive aroma, soft texture and nutty, earthy flavour, the naturally aged grain highlights one of India’s indigenous rice varieties. With a low glycemic index of 49–53, Kala Namak rice is positioned as a diabetic-friendly choice. It is rich in iron and zinc, contains antioxidants and dietary fibre, and is naturally gluten-free, non-GMO and vegan. It aims to make nutrient-rich heritage foods more accessible while encouraging healthier, informed everyday choices. Mudit Goel, co-founder, Kkhavo, said, “Consumers today want greater clarity about the food they bring into their homes. Before launching our first product, we conducted more than 250 quality and nutritional tests covering its purity, safety and nutritional profile, and made the reports publicly available on our website. This commitment to transparency will remain central to every category Kkhavo enters.”
