Phab, the macro-first nutrition brand, has launched its lemon pie millet wafer, combining 10g of protein and 153 calories in a crisp, convenient snack inspired by the classic lemon pie flavour. The new product aims to bring a refreshing citrus profile to the protein-snacking category, which has traditionally focused on flavours such as chocolate and peanut butter. The launch is supported by Phab’s “Bring Back Summer” campaign, which draws on the nostalgic appeal of lemon and its association with summer.

According to Phab, developing the Lemon Pie flavour involved months of research and development to balance the natural tartness of lemon with the creamy, sweet notes associated with pie, while avoiding excess sugar and artificial souring agents. The company said the objective was to create a snack that delivers a refreshing and enjoyable taste while meeting its nutritional parameters.

Gayatri Chona, nutritionist & founder, Phab, said, “As a nutritionist, I've always believed that healthy eating shouldn't feel like a compromise, it should feel like something you look forward to. Lemon Pie is about bringing that idea to life, food that does right by your body without asking you to give up flavour or joy.”

The launch also introduces refreshed packaging for the brand, with key nutritional information highlighted on the front. Protein, calories and “No Maida” are prominently displayed, while the complete macronutrient breakdown is provided on the back.

Phab said, “The new packaging is designed to make nutritional information easier to understand while moving away from the clinical, fitness-oriented look often associated with protein products. The brand aims to position its products as convenient everyday food choices rather than products restricted to the fitness category.”
