Ventive Hospitality Ltd has launched YA:LA, a Levantine restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, expanding the hotel’s luxury food and beverage offering and strengthening the company’s hospitality portfolio.

The restaurant’s design draws inspiration from the earthy colour palette and traditional craft heritage of the Levant, interpreted through a contemporary setting. The concept reflects Ventive Hospitality’s experience in developing and operating distinctive food and beverage spaces, with a focus on creating dining destinations that contribute to the character of their cities.

The kitchen at YA:LA is headed by Lebanese Head Chef Mohamad Hammady. The menu draws on the culinary traditions of the Levant while exploring their influences and connections with neighbouring regions. It combines familiar flavours and traditional cooking techniques with contemporary interpretations, placing emphasis on communal dining and dishes designed for sharing.

Complementing the food menu is a cocktail programme inspired by Mediterranean flavours, featuring ingredients and combinations built around herbs, citrus and spices.

Commenting on the launch, Ranjit Batra, CEO, Ventive Hospitality Ltd, said that food and beverage has always been an important part of the company’s hospitality approach. He added that YA:LA reflects its focus on setting new trends while respecting the food, culture, music and people associated with the region. The restaurant aims to celebrate culinary stories and create new experiences around the dining table.

The launch of YA:LA further strengthens the luxury dining portfolio at The Ritz-Carlton, Pune and aligns with Ventive Hospitality’s strategy of enhancing its hospitality assets and creating long-term value.
