Abbott unveils PediaSure’s Cookies & Cream variant for kids two and up

Abbott has launched PediaSure in a new flavour - Cookies and Cream - for children two years and above. Packed with 37 vital nutrients, it provides complete and balanced nutrition for a growing child at nutritional risk and supports a child's growing height, weight and energy requirements.
Two servings - one in the morning and the other in the evening - of PediaSure go a long way towards building immunity as well as physical and brain development in children. Moreover, the new flavour is great for children who are very selective in their taste preferences.

At the launch event, actor Lara Dutta, mother to a six-year-old, spoke about the importance of optimum nutrition in holistic child growth.

“A child’s formative years, between the ages of two and six, lay the foundation for motor, cognitive, social, and emotional skills for life,” said Dr Eileen Canday, head of the department, nutrition and dietetic department, Sir H N Reliance Foundation Hospital, at the launch.
“During this period, children witness rapid linear growth, continued development of organs and neural expansion. Therefore, this is the time when children have specific nutritional requirements and high-energy needs,” she added.
