Kellogg’s launches ready-to-eat cereal variant Special K Protein & Fibre

Kellogg India has launched a new nutrient-dense ready-to-eat cereal in the market under its Kellogg’s Special K portfolio. The new offering, Kellogg’s Special K Protein & Fibre, is a delicious, cranberry-flavoured ready-to-eat cereal made with whole wheat, with added protein and fibre, making it high in protein and fibre.
Also, it is fortified with eight key essential vitamins and iron, thereby making it a deliciously satisfying and a nourishing cereal offering for those who want to kick-start their weight management journey without compromising on taste. Available in a 445g box, Kellogg’s Special K Protein & Fibre costs Rs 199.
Kellogg’s has always championed the importance of eating breakfast every day. Kellogg’s Special K Protein & Fibre, along with skim milk or curd and fruits or dry fruits, is a breakfast option for such consumers.
“Foods high in protein and fibre help one feel full, thereby reducing hunger pangs. Kellogg’s Special K Protein & Fibre is high in protein and fibre and can be enjoyed with skim milk or curds and fruit. Regular breakfast consumption, along with regular exercise, a balanced diet and an active lifestyle can help people manage their weight,” said Samreedhi Goel, owner, Sizewise (an exercise studio), and consulting nutritionist, Kellogg’s.

This new breakfast cereal, in particular, presents consumers with a nutritional boost to set the stage for the day ahead. Through the Special K portfolio, we are trying to address a bigger shift in mindset and inculcate the importance of eating a balanced, nutritious meal and not eating less in one’s journey to stay fit.”
One can consume Kellogg’s Special K Protein & Fibre with skimmed milk for a classic breakfast feel or mix it with yoghurt to change it up. Add fruits, dry fruits or nuts to the mix for a yummier and balanced meal. For those who avoid dairy, it can be consumed with almond milk and soy milk.
Kellogg’s Special K Protein & Fibre is available at all leading local supermarkets and grocery stores, and on leading e-commerce sites.
International research has also stated that people who eat breakfast like low-fat Kellogg’s Special K with skim milk and fruit tend to be slimmer than those who don’t eat breakfast.
