Godrej Veg Oils launches digital cookbook ‘Sahi Shuruaat'

Godrej Veg Oils, announced the launch of a digital cookbook ‘Sahi Shuruaat'. This first edition is a compendium of 50 unique and easy vegetarian recipes by professional chefs and culinary students.

The product portfolio includes a wide range of edible oils such as Sunflower Oil, Rice Bran Oil, Filtered Groundnut Oil, Refined Groundnut Oil and Refined Soyabean Oil. To showcase the range of cooking oil, Godrej has also been launched a series of video recipes by two times national award winner – chef Varun Inamdar.

Celebrations in India are incomplete without a special dish for every occasion. While every dish is unique in terms of ingredients, texture, flavour, the cooking process often starts with one key ingredient, cooking oil. The cookbook brings the focus on cooking oil which is necessary to rustle up that perfect dish.

Sujit Patil, vice president and head, corporate brand and communication, Godrej Industries Limited and Associate Companies, said, “With the rise in interest to experiment with different recipes, ‘Sahi Shuruaat' aims to give food lovers a perfect start to the festive season with recipes that are easy to experiment and enjoy the togetherness with family. We aim to periodically publish various genres of food recipes in a simple manner.”

Chef Varun Inamdar said, “The affinity for traditional recipes is very strong and the festival special recipes that I am curating with Godrej Veg Oils are some of most loved. Considering the quest for healthy choices, I have enjoyed bringing an interesting twist to these recipes. I humbly believe, Godrej Veg Oils will give your recipes a Sahi Shuruaat.”

This first edition of the cookbook is the result of a collaboration with chef Kumresh Naidu, chef Aditi Mehta, chef Kamlesh Salve and food aficionado, Utpal Khot. It includes some traditional and contemporary recipes such as Kesari Gujiya, Quinoa Kashmiri Pulao, Badal Jaam, Motiyon wale Gulgule, Mushroom bomb with Dill dip, Roulasi kebab, Soya chunk lollypop and more.
