Absolute Hotel Services appoints Jategaonkar regional manager for India

 Saurabh Jategaonkar has been appointed regional manager, revenue and distribution, at the India regional office of Absolute Hotel Services.
His appointment was confirmed by Sameer Dharkar, managing director, Absolute Hotel Services, Indian sub-continent and Middle-East.
Jategaonkar holds a degree in international hospitality management from the Queen Margaret University, Edinburgh UK, along with a post-graduate programme in revenue management from the IHG Academy. He is currently pursuing his e-master’s certificate in revenue management from Cornell University, USA.
He brings to the fore over a decade of diverse experiences in hotels and working with consulting revenue maximisers, his last assignment as revenue manager was with Hyatt Hotels.
At Absolute Hotel Services, Jategaonkar will be responsible for optimising business opportunities and maximising yield for all operating and yet-to-open properties.

Revenue and distribution as a function is rapidly moving into the science of revenue analysis, so as to add value to business and adopt more innovative ways in strategic planning and decisive implementation concerning pricing, budgets, forecasting, marketing, the entire gamut,” he added.
“His ability to crunch numbers and manage our globally acclaimed tools will top up sizeable incremental earnings. We are in the cusp of adding more hotels to our portfolio, and it is the most apt time for his joining,” said Dharkar.
