Packaging machine maker Erca S.A.S. appoints Chevreteau and Liégeois as MDs

The global packaging machine manufacturer Erca S.A.S. will be headed up by two executives, Olivier Chevreteau and Jean-Claude Liégeois. Both of them have been appointed as MDs effective from May 15, 2020. Both have several decades of management experience and know-how in the packaging industry.
Olivier Chevreteau past experience Prior to joining Erca S.A.S, Chevreteau worked for the French Serac Group for more than 12 years; the last three years as sales director Europe, CIS, Middle East and Africa. He has more than 30 years of experience in the packaging industry.
Jean-Claude Liégois past experience Jean-Claude Liégois also worked for the Serac Group for more than 27 years; the last three years as CEO of Serac S.A.S. and VP of the Serac Group.
Thomas Becker, CEO and partner of the IMA Dairy and Food Group, to which Erca belongs, said, “With Olivier Chevreteau and Jean-Claude Liégeois with their long lasting international experience in the packaging machine business, we were able to hire two successful managers to run Erca S.A.S. and to move forward.’’
Responsibility as managing director In his new positions at the helm of Erca S.A.S., Chrevreteau is responsible for the Courtaboeuf site (near Paris) and is therefore responsible for sales and service. In his new positions of leadership of Erca S.A.S., Liégeois is responsible for the Falaise site (in Normandy) and is therefore responsible for research and development, production and operations. The Falaise location was strengthened by the concentration of the complete production of the form, fill and seal machines as well as the new fill and seal machines for pre-formed cups that were added to the portfolio.
