Patanjali Life Time Achievement Award conferred upon Dr D B A Narayana

 Dr D B A Narayana was honoured with the Patanjali Life Time Achievement Award at the 19th essay of the World Congress on Food Science and Technology (known as IUFoST 2018), which concluded in Mumbai recently.
The award was in recognition of his outstanding contribution to Ayur science, traditional wisdom, documentation and integration of basic science for health.
The certificate was signed by Dr V Prakash, chairman, Congress; chair elect, Scientific Council, IUFoST, and vice-president, IUNS, and former director, CFTRI, Mysuru.
The World Congress of IUFoST is held once in four years. The scientific committee recognised four Indians, and one of them was Dr Narayana.
