Then he joined Matsuri-The Chancery Hotel Bangalore, that saw him perform his duties for eight years in the capacity of commis-I, specialised in Japanese cuisines.

Thapa went on to add more experience to his resume and joined Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel as chef-de-partie, was later promoted to the sous chef position and continued his rendezvous with Japanese, Chinese, Thai and pan-Asian cuisines at High Ultra Lounge.

He holds a diploma in hotel management from Benson College of Hotel Management and Culinary Arts, Chennai.

When not at work, you will find Thapa hitting the ball out of the boundary, as he is a cricket enthusiast.

Brigade Hospitality Services is also the asset manager for the hotels developed by Brigade Group, which owns the first Grand Mercure Hotel in the country, the Sheraton Grand in Brigade Gateway, and the newly-launched Grand Mercure Mysuru and Four Points by Sheraton Kochi Infopark.
