The Festive Square at Lower Parel’s High Street Phoenix will host Dessert Garden, India’s biggest dessert festival, between 2pm and 11pm on November 11 and 12, 2017. Entry is free.

The line-up of brands for 2017 includes Papacream, Frugurpop, Waffle House, Shahi Durbar, Plated, Fablespoon, Dairyland, Dilans Delight and Fleur De Lys Patisserie.

Among the desserts on offer are Turkish baklavas, French entremets, centre-filled cupcakes, cookiewiches, meringues, waffle sticks, freak shakes, donuts, marshmallow sundaes, chocolate eclairs, cookie dough, dessert jars and candy floss.

Dessert installations, such as a cupcake car, the tallest macaroon tower and a chandelier cake, will also be showcased at the festival, whose founder, Nikita Harisinghani, stated that she was proud to be associated with the event, as it was the only all-dessert festival which has been taking place on such a large scale.

“We make a conscious effort to make Dessert Garden a true heaven for all dessert lovers. This year, we have 50-plus brands, showcasing some of the best desserts specially curated for the event,” she added.

“Mumbaikars have immense love for desserts. We have been witnessing hundreds and thousands of customers getting attracted and walking in the mall during the Dessert Garden Festivals every time we host them,” said Rajendra Kalkar, president (West), The Phoenix Mills Limited.

“Unlike food, desserts can be eaten at any time of the day. The Dessert Garden is not just any festival, but it is the biggest dessert festival with over a hundred variants curated in a very special way,” he added.
