LF’s ‘Mast Maharashtra’ for a journey to witness vibrant culture & people

Living Foodz, everyone’s favourite destination/TV channel for travel and food launches its new offering – ‘Mast Maharashtra’ on July 3, 2020.

The show is the channel’s attempt to beautifully showcase the spirit of Maharashtra through its vivid colours and cultures, people and places and the scenic beauty which illuminates the powerful history of the state.

Often called the 'Gateway to the Heart of India', the state is power-packed with its bubbling culture, great economic enterprise, traditions, ethnic richness, and wide diversity. The show follows the journey of ‘Mumbai chi mulgi Prajakta Mali', who undertakes a solo journey across the diverse regions of the state.

Through her eyes, experience infinite amount of textures, flavours, sounds, and colours in a different perspective and be introduced to a side of our state you never knew existed.

Traveling to the various cities and districts to understand the very essence of its people and their impelling causes of living, an amalgamation of culturally rich yet modern life that unites them.

Each episode focusses on three exceptional aspects of this state: the people of the state, places that make Maharashtra popular, and the delectable palate of Maharashtra. Via her solo journey, Mali discovers the vast cultural mosaic of Maharashtra and its many hidden stories; that move and inspire her.

Mali said, “Truly a mast place to live in, Maharashtra is a state that makes me feel proud to be a Maharashtrian. Modern yet cultural, fast-paced yet peaceful, Maharashtra is so much more than what meets the eye. With LF, I got a chance to revisit the old and explore some new aspects of this culturally rich state as I embark on a solo trip.”

Being an avid traveller, driving 1,500 km in my trusty Skoda throughout the state and going places was my favourite thing to do during the shoot. I have experienced the magic that the state offers and my fascination for Maharashtra has been effervescently translated into these episodes”, she added.

A popular face in the Marathi industry, she has worked in movies like Party, Hampi, Dokyala Shot and Kho Kho to name a few. An Indian Marathi actress, Mali’s journey is a perfect mix of passion and creativity.
Join her as she goes on innumerable adventures which will set your adrenaline rushing. From must-visit destinations to must-eat places to must do while in the state, the show encapsulates famous locations in and around the state and takes the viewers on a journey from Mumbai to cities and towns like Pune, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nagpur and Ratnagiri.

The show will be aired every Friday, 8.30 pm on the channel and every Sunday, 6.30 pm on Zee Marathi.
