My OmNamo app unveils OmNamo Modak Fest, commemorating Ganesh Chaturthi

The My OmNamo app has unveiled the My OmNamo Modak Fest at the onset of Ganesh Chaturthi. Pre-booking for the Lord’s favourite offering has commenced, and those who want to place orders must book it three days or more in advance.
Three variants - Ukdiche Modak, Healthy Modak and Diet Modak - are available on the app, which can be downloaded from the Google Play Store on Android phones and the App store on iOS phones. The services can be availed online as well.
The Ukdiche Modak - offered as prasad to the elephant-headed deity and hence considered auspicious - is made of coconut, jaggery, green cardamom seeds, poppy seeds, chopped cashew nuts and raisins.
While the Healthy Modak is made of jaggery, sesame, whole wheat, green moong, pure ghee, elaichi and nutmeg, the Diet Modak is made of oats and jaggery. They are available only upon pre-booking.
While a pack of minimum 21 pieces of Ukdiche Modak is priced Rs 420 onwards, the Healthy and Diet variants start from Rs 900 per kg. The smaller pack of the former will comprise 11 pieces.
Makarand Patil, founder, My OmNamo, stated, “My OmNamo has reached out to self-help groups (SHGs) of women from Mumbai and Thane, who make the modaks at home and possess FSSAI licenses.”
“Through this latest offering, we are attracting new patrons for the upcoming season and making their lives easier. MyNamo has been re-established as the only one-stop solution for the spiritual needs of people all over the globe,” he added.
