Kanan Devan Tea, from the house of Tata Tea, was relaunched with a continued focus on delivering the best quality teas from Kanan Devan Hills, one of the highest hills in Kerala. The relaunch would also include a new brand packaging which is refreshed and more contemporary. Malayalam film star Mohanlal revived his ties with Tata Tea Kanan Devan Tea as the brand ambassador.

Commenting on the relaunch, Vikram Grover, vice-president and marketing head, India and South Asia, Tata Global Beverages, said, “Over the years, Tata Tea Kanan Devan has been an essential part of tea-consuming homes in Kerala. What makes the brand reign supreme in Kerala’s tea arena is its matchless taste which is attributed to its source, the pristine Kanan Devan Hills in Munnar.”

“The elevation of the Kanan Devan Hills makes the product unique, as the hills offer ideal tea-growing conditions which give the Tata Tea Kanan Devan tea its distinctive taste, which consumers cherish,” he added.

“We are delighted to have Mohanlal as our brand ambassador. His universal appeal and his age-old association with the brand will echo the quality and distinctiveness of Tata Tea Kanan Devan tea,” Grover said.

Mohanlal was enthused as he remarked, “I am elated to have renewed my association with Tata Tea Kanan Devan tea and the Tata Tea family. As a tea lover myself, I identify with the brand’s long-standing legacy and expect Kerala’s tea connoisseurs to welcome Tata Tea Kanan Devan with the warmth they always had for it.”
