AdPower has launched a major new marketing campaign, inviting the next generation of food and beverage brands to embark on a relationship with outdoor and audio advertising. Titled ‘Love Letters’, the campaign sees it court 100 SME brands spanning different industries, audiences and stages of growth, including more than 30 food and beverage businesses from across UK. As part of the campaign, each brand is being wooed with its own declaration of affection, displayed on a billboard close to its offices or stores. Created in partnership with Stink Studios, every letter is personalised to its recipient, weaving in references unique to the brand, from “Wrap me in seaweed, and let’s spread the word” for UK’s first build your own sushi concept, SushiDog to “I’m lovesick, and a double shot of you is the only cure” for coffee company Redemption Roasters. It is UK’s first self-service platform to book mainstream audio & outdoor media in minutes. From radio ads on some of UK’s best-loved brands such as Heart and Capital, to outdoor campaigns across city centres and major transport networks on UK’s number 1 outdoor network, it combines self-service simplicity with the scale, quality and trust of Global’s unrivalled media network. It brings professional-grade, mainstream scale advertising within reach of ambitious businesses that are used to buying digital media, but may be new to outdoor and radio or audio advertising. Users can upload their own creative assets, or use its AI design tools to create both radio and outdoor adverts for free, in minutes. Miranda Mathews, director, AdPower, said, “Many SMEs have spent years flirting with the idea of brand advertising, especially in iconic places like the Tube, on a London bus, or alongside household-name brands like Heart and Capital. But for some, that world has historically felt complicated or out of reach. AdPower was created to change that - making premium media much easier for small but ambitious businesses to access. The UK has an incredible community of independent food and beverage brands building fiercely loyal followings, and we want to give those businesses a simple way to take their stories to millions more people.” Beyond the brands featured in ‘Love Letters’, it has already been working with food and beverage businesses including PerfectTed, the UK’s number one matcha drink. An existing customer, PerfectTed used the platform to launch its first outdoor and audio campaign having already grown from a kitchen-table business into a nationally stocked challenger brand. The three-week campaign ran across the London Underground and roadside sites, alongside audio advertising. It generated seven million impressions, driving 13 per cent rise in brand awareness and 33 per cent jump in ad recall. Marisa Poster, co-founder at PerfectTed, said, “You never think, when you're starting a brand at your kitchen table, that your face and your brand will end up on these big screens across London. It’s incredibly surreal and one of my proudest moments.”
