APEDA invites bids for auction paddy auction

The Agricultural and Processed Foods Products Export Development Authority-(APEDA) has invited bids for auction of approx 50 quintals of paddy.
The stock, comprising different graded Basmati varieties, is currently stored at the Basmati Rice Export Development Foundation’s Demonstration and Training (D&T) Farm located in Modipuram, Meerut.
According to the APEDA interested buyers and commercial entities can inspect the graded paddy samples at the Modipuram site during working office hours between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
The bids can be addressed to the Basmati Export Development Foundation on or before October 8 at 5pm and as per APEDA, the bids shall be on the basis of "As is -where is" while the successful bidder is required to lift the paddy within 7 days.
