The 10th edition of Beer&Food Attraction, a B2B event organised by Italian Exhibition Group for the entire Bar&Beverage industry sector, was inaugurated at Fiera di Rimini. Until Tuesday, February 18, in the pavilions of the Rimini exhibition centre, high-quality beverage proposals, Italian and international beer excellences, soft drinks and mixology are combined with food proposals, from casual dining to aperitifs, offering a complete range of products and services for the foodservice channel.
Preview of the new 2026 feature: Mixology attraction Theme of the opening ceremony ‘Quality, Trends, Innovation: the HoReCa of Tomorrow’, speakers included Alessandra Locatelli, minister for Disabilities, Mirco Carloni, president of the Agriculture Commission at the Chamber of deputies, Emma Petitti and Alice Parma, councilor of the Emilia-Romagna Region and Juri Magrini, councilor for Budget and Economic Activities of the Municipality of Rimini. Speakers included Antonio Portaccio, president of Italgrob, Alfredo Pratolongo, president of Assobirra, Vittorio Ferraris, president of Unionbirrai, Rocco Pozzulo, president of FIC-Italian Chefs Federation and Aldo Mario Cursano, national deputy vice president of FIPE-Italian Federation of Public Establishments. Hosting the event was Maurizio Ermeti, president of Italian Exhibition Group (NB – for the statements see the separate press release). In his speech, Ermeti gave a preview of the great new feature for 2026: Mixology Attraction, a real fair, with an independent brand, which will stand alongside Beer&Food Attraction with equal dignity.
At the end of the ceremony, the Lorenzo Cagnoni Award was presented, in partnership with ANGI - National Association of Young Innovators and ICE Agency to reward the most innovative ideas in the Out of Home sector.
New Features: 4D cocktail ice sculptures and the low alcohol phenomenon This year, Beer&Food Attraction presents the most exclusive Italian cocktail bars (and a well-known venue in Barcelona), which have moved to the Fair to tell the future of the mixology world: the unmissable sample of ice sculptures used for the bar world and created with 4D technology. The “low alcohol” offer is growing: from beer to gin, passing through spritz, all that remains is to go and discover the new ones. And then the low-calorie beers and drinks based on cactus water, which exploit the nutritious and antioxidant properties of the succulent plant. Among the beers, you are spoiled for choice: from the one with Habanero chili pepper to the one with grape must.
In the arenas the future of HoReCa The event is enriched by several arenas, real stages dedicated to talks, competitions and high-level content. Among these:
HoReCa Arena (pavilion C3) hosts the 14th edition of Italgrob's International HoReCa Meeting, with a rich programme of talks and workshops in collaboration with all the associations of the supply chain and research companies, such as The European House Ambrosetti, Circana, Trade Lab and Formind.
Mixology Circus (Pavilion C1): area dedicated to the world of mixology with 11 excellent cocktail bars, masterclasses and talks. New this year is the " Mixology Village ", which brings together companies producing spirits and accessories for bartenders and the " Sparkling&Mix " area, dedicated to the best proposals of sparkling wines for mixing.
Fic Arena (pavilion A3) hosts the 9th edition of the Italian Cuisine Championships of the FIC - Italian Chefs Federation, with 500 competitors involved. New for 2025: the Global Chefs Challenge - European Gran Prix 2025, a European haute cuisine selection event that prepares participants for the world championship of the Worldchefs circuit.
