Beer&Food Attraction 2026 opens in Rimini with focus on innovation & mixology

The 11th edition of Beer&Food Attraction officially opened at the Fiera di Rimini, bringing together the out-of-home food and beverage industry under one roof. Organised by Italian Exhibition Group, the B2B event featured over 600 exhibitors from 16 countries and 130 international buyers from 45 nations.
A key highlight this year was the debut of Mixology Attraction, reflecting a 39% expansion in the mixology segment. The growing integration between brewing and distillation is evident, with breweries expanding into spirits and craft-based cocktail offerings. Low- and no-alcohol beverages are also gaining prominence, emerging as products with distinct identities rather than simple alternatives.
The inauguration ceremony saw participation from industry leaders including representatives from Italgrob, Assobirra, Unionbirrai and Federazione Italiana Cuochi. Italy’s Minister for Disabilities, Alessandra Locatelli, attended the Italian Cooking Championships, while Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida spoke at the event.
Innovation took centre stage at the Lorenzo Cagnoni Award 2026, which recognised cutting-edge solutions for the out-of-home sector. Start-up Crave Srl won first place for its real-time data platform designed to reduce waste and optimise sales. Sustainability-focused Mountain’s Goat GmbH and digital loyalty platform Voucherly Srl secured second and third positions, respectively.
The event also features the 21st “Beer of the Year” award by Unionbirrai, marking 30 years of Italian craft beer, alongside market analysis sessions and major competitions including the Italian Cooking Championships.
Beer&Food Attraction 2026 underscores the transformation of the bar industry into a smart, sustainable and innovation-driven ecosystem.
