The beverage industry is expecting a surge in sales this summer, anticipating 25-30% year on year growth from March onwards due to early heatwave warnings.
The rise in demand is expected to boost sales of soft drinks & ice creams as temperature rises from April to June.
Experts feel that sales of refreshment products are expected to exceed expectations in the first quarter of the fiscal 2025.
According to an industry insider, the expected surge in the demand may affect the supply chain as companies may face delivery issues meeting the rise in demand especially in rural areas.
However, this doesn’t deter the companies from launching new products.
Rasna recently launched a new product as the beverage giant is eying 30-40% growth in the next fiscal.
