BLUE unveils AI-video analytics infrastructure for food processing

AI startup BLUE (KGraph AI Solutions) has unveiled its AI-native enterprise video infrastructure platform, built on the world's first semantic codec for videos for the food processing and QSR (quick service restaurants) segment.
Designed for organizations managing large-scale camera deployments, the platform transforms conventional CCTV infrastructure into a searchable, AI-ready data layer, reducing bandwidth consumption by up to 90%, lowering video storage costs by up to 10x, and cutting compute requirements for semantic video retrieval by 5–10x, resulting in up to 30-40% lower operational expenses. With enterprises increasingly looking to operationalize video data using AI, BLUE expects the launch to accelerate its growth trajectory and is targeting 10X revenue growth by FY30.
In its first six months, BLUE has been deployed with leading enterprises in India including Britannia, Haldiram's, and CPRL which is McDonald's licensee in North and East India) among others, with strong market adoption and encouraging customer response.
Industry estimates indicate that video storage accounts for 40–60% of the total surveillance lifecycle cost, while energy and cooling contribute another 10–20%. AI-enabled surveillance deployments can further increase infrastructure expenditure by 2–5x, depending on deployment scale and sophistication.

Unlike conventional video analytics platforms that rely on predefined alerts or GPU-heavy processing at each site, BLUE enables organisations to ask open-ended business questions of their video data.
In the QSR sector, delivery disputes alone can cost Rs 1–1.2 lakh per outlet each month, with liability typically falling on the restaurant. Billing discrepancies, counter fraud, service delays and SOP gaps often remain less noticed. BLUE surfaces these inefficiencies quickly, enabling faster corrective action. Similarly, in warehousing and logistics, the gains are even more significant.
