Bringing the authentic flavours of Burma to the comfort of your home, Burma Burma Restaurant and Tea Room step into the western suburbs of the city. Launching its first delivery kitchen situated in Santacruz, the restaurant will now service the western suburbs of Juhu, Andheri, BKC, Chembur, Vile Parle, Lokhandwala, Khar, Bandra West, Kalina among others.

Encompassing the diverse regional culinary traditions of Myanmar, the specialty Burmese kitchen will reflect the gastronomic history inspired by surrounding countries and ancient traditions. Be it the all-time favourite curries, salads, or the stir-fries and noodles that add variety to the regional palate, their menu is sure to make its way to a foodie's heart.

Ordering Burmese cuisine is a click away, one can order the all-time favourite Samosa Soup, Tea Leaf Salad, Khowsuey, and a few delectable desserts like Rangoon Baked milk and  Smoky Avocado and honey ice cream to name a few. The all-new delivery kitchen will facilitate online deliveries and takeaways as well. The restaurant has also introduced ‘Make-it-Yourself’ recipe kits that can be ordered as well. The make-it-yourself kits will have dishes like the Khowsuey, Bubble tea, and other house favorites, etc.

The brainchild of Ankit Gupta and Chirag Chhajer, it was started with an honest intention of making delicious Burmese cuisine accessible to all. The launch of the delivery kitchen will act as a stepping stone to realising this very dream of bringing the cuisine to every household in the city.

Ankit Gupta, co-founder, Burma Burma, said, “Burmese cuisine has always been very close to my heart as it resembles a feature of my own identity. The dishes that are listed in our menu are a reflection of my mother’s love, affection and are the ones that I grew up eating in my childhood. The rich flavours of the cuisine inspired me to make this regional cuisine accessible to every household of the city. Starting a delivery kitchen was always in the pipeline, as being located in South Mumbai made it difficult for us to spread our flavours across the city while our patrons found it inconvenient to travel all the way to the restaurant to savour our food. Being able to make people try Burmese cuisine is the main aim to start the delivery kitchen and it will act as our first step towards many more.”

Over the years, it has expanded from their first restaurant in Kalaghoda, Mumbai to 5 other metros including Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, Bengaluru and Kolkata, to resolve and reach the farthest corners of their home city that only got stronger with time. The outpouring of love for their food and everything they have done has turned this dream into a reality.
