ColdStar Logistics has shared a long and fruitful 10+ year partnership with QSR operator Lenexis Foodworks, part of the Inspira Global group. It has been managing the end-to-end cold chain operations of the company from primary transport, multi-temperature warehousing facilities and last mile deliveries across 262 outlets for brands like Chinese Wok, Big Bowl and The Momo Co., run by the QSR company.
Consolidating its long association with the company, it is now ready with a plan to support the company’s growth and expansion to 500+ stores pan India across these sub brands in the next 3 years. Its current support spans the frozen, chilled, and ambient categories in over 360 SKUs, enabling nearly 2,400 SKU-line orders a day with 99.85% delivery accuracy.
Sameer Varma, executive director, ColdStar Logistics, said, “We first began working with Lenexis Foodworks over a decade ago. Over the years we have successfully anticipated new demand and adapted our services to meet evolving requirements. We moved from a part-fresh, part-warehousing model to a completely pre-packed frozen, chiller and dry distribution system for store deliveries. Consistency, zero stock out, freshness, speed and availability contribute to be our USPs for our partner. As Lenexis gears up for expansion over the next three years, we’ve anticipated the demand to come and are ready to double our capacity to over 500 stores.”
Aayush Madhusudan Agrawal, director, Lenexis Foodworks, said, “Supply chain is a critical enabler of scale in the QSR business. As Lenexis Foodworks expands towards 500+ stores, consistency, speed and reliability across markets become non-negotiable. Our partnership with ColdStar has played a key role in ensuring seamless operations and maintaining product quality at scale, and we see this collaboration continuing to be a strong growth enabler in the years ahead.”
