Confect is the only Make in India confectionery brand to launch in the USA. It is India’s only chef run food technology company, ensuring that quality sustainable products are available to all. The company has showcased its track record by proving pure ingredients & good quality trumps all imported products, so much so that it is today FDA certified and adheres to the highest quality standards.

Entering international waters is just the first step for this startup that is looking to establish a global footprint this year.

Confect will be selling its range of signature sugar paste, edible sprinkles, drips & gumpaste across the United States via Amazon.

The brand is set to launch with Walmart US this year as well in addition to launching in the UK & Europe later this year.

In the words of the owner of Confect, Chef Gauri Varma: “Everyone should experience the joy of cakes at home - Confect has got you covered. We are in the business of celebrating happiness, since cakes are a part of every milestone or joyous occasion in life - it is key that the product performs every single time.  A company that started out with sugarpaste, today has over 500 products to spoil you for choice.

After over 365 days, with over 400 failure attempts, led to the inception of what Confect is now today.

The concept of Confect came into existence by keeping in mind the developing Indian bakery industry and lack of chef led quality ingredients.

It’s safe to say Confect is the culmination made with love for its customers which led to the brand entering international waters.
