Google rolled out its free hotel booking links programme for hospitality businesses. eZee, the global number two hotel PMS provider has joined forces with the search giant to empower its end users with the benefits of this programme.

Customers will be able to enrol and fully reap the benefits of this program without any hassle whatsoever, demonstrating its commitment and constant innovations to its hospitality solutions. This coupled with its ongoing strive to empower hotels to become more profitable made them one of the initial technology partners for this programme.

The company is well known for its innovations and initiatives aimed at augmenting businesses and enhancing user experience. FBL is a continuation of its efforts in support of the travel and hospitality industry. Over the last few years, it has launched several products and programmes including‘Travel Insights with Google', ‘Google Hotel Search' and ‘Google Hotel Ads', to enable accommodation providers gain higher visibility and demand, and also helped  travellers with quick and accessible hotel booking.

The search giant’s recent addition to its hospitality portfolio is the FBL, which will assist accommodation providers to enlist their direct booking rates and availability.

Through this new launch, the search giant is making it free for hotels and travel companies around the world to appear in hotel booking links, beginning this week. The company’s role here would be to enrol its existing customers and all future customers onto the platform, unlocking a myriad of direct and commission-free booking opportunities for the properties.

This programme would entail the following benefits for hospitality businesses:
Direct connection to Google with the best rate coverage and real time prices.
Display of direct rates and availability on Google Search and Google Maps.
Acquire more direct commission-free bookings.

For the travellers, this programme will provide them an immediate access to a larger selection of accommodations with accurate and real-time pricing, allowing them to make informed travel decisions, resulting in better booking experience and overall satisfaction.

Andrew Kim, chief business officer,eZee,said, “The most important fact we realised during and as we come out of the pandemic is that, companies will have to keep innovating and evolving to survive and impart superior user experience. With the FBL programme, Google aims to assist the hospitality industry bounce back on their feet through optimum visibility and opportunities. eZee’s purpose has always been to bolster small and mid sized hotels to become more profitable and efficient businesses. By participating and working with Google on FBL, eZee aims to strengthen the travel industry with modernisation.”

With travel and tourism in some parts of the world showing signs of recovery in 2021, it has become crucial for the hospitality sector to identify opportunities and apply strategies to retain their businesses. On the other hand, travellers are expecting better and personalised experiences. In such a scenario, the FBL and the company’s participation in it will turn out to be a valuable opportunity.

The company is the leading affiliate of Yanolja's global hospitality solutions business. It is the fastest-growing number one OTA, and the only ‘Unicorn’ among travel related companies in South Korea. In the online business, as a ‘Super App’, Yanolja provides all services covering travel including accommodation, leisure, and transportation. Together with the company, the brand is now also one of the global Top 2 PMS providers in the world, having fully integrated the entire hotel operations, covering from front office to back office. It connects the B2B2C value chain of the global hospitality industry with a one-stop network integrated into a single platform.
