FHA-HoReCa 2024 is now in full swing at Singapore Expo, running from October 22 to 25. As Asia’s leading foodservice and hospitality event, it is set to attract over 40,000 local and international trade visitors. This year’s edition was officially opened by Minister of State Alvin Tan, who emphasised Singapore’s pivotal role in shaping the future of the MICE and hospitality sectors, with a strong focus on sustainability.
Some event highlights include, 800+ Exhibitors from 30+ countries and regions, showcasing innovations across Bakery, Pastry & Gelato, Foodservice & Hospitality Equipment, Hospitality Style, Hospitality Technology, and Specialty Coffee & Tea.
Sustainability Seminars: A new series of talks exploring the future of hospitality with themes including:
- Envisioning the Future of Hospitality: Trends, technology, and challenges.
- Sustainability & Hotel Design: 15+ international thought leaders discussing green design and net-positive hospitality.
- Technology & Innovation: Cutting-edge solutions in foodservice and hotel operations.
- Global Chefs Challenge Finals: Singapore proudly hosts this prestigious competition after 34 years, featuring 72 chefs from 25 countries. The competition spans four categories: Global Chefs Challenge; Global Young Chefs Challenge; Global Pastry Chefs Challenge; The inaugural Global Vegan Chefs Challenge
- New competitions: The FHA Bakery Challenge, FHA Dessert Challenge, and FHA Barista Challenge showcasing the best talent in the foodservice industry.
