The 17th edition of Kerala’s premier food processing & packaging event-FoodTech Kerala will be organised from August 7 to 9, 2026 at Cochin.

The event is endorsed and supported by Kerala Bureau of Industrial Promotion(K-BIP), MFPOI, NABARD, Norka-Roots and Kerala Agricultural University.

The key highlight of the expo will be the PMFME Pavilion featuring over 100 FPO units’ participation from the State and will be sponsored by Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Kerala.

The presence of food processors & food processing and packaging equipment suppliers, buyers and importers will give a new dimension to the entire sector bringing the local buyers and national suppliers for the food sector on a single platform.

In the last year, a major push has been given to the food industry especially to the small-scale food processors and agro-processing units in the State-compared to previous years. The event will be inaugurated on August 7, 2026, by the State Industries Minister, Kunhalikutty in the presence of other stake holders of the industry.

The exhibition spanning three days will have over 200 stalls from a wide arena of categories related to the Agro-Food Processing and Packaging industry. The stalls will include exhibitors representing the machinery and equipment for the processed food industries. It will be a great show of organisations (both local & national) exhibiting during this year’s edition with trade visitors and over 350 pre-registered trade buyers who will attend the expo.

On the 2nd Day—IIP, Chenai will also conduct Food Packaging Training Programme for the food processors within the State. The post event evaluation has revealed a strong positive desire by the exhibitors and the participants to be engaged in future editions as well. The show also saw the increase in small and medium scale enterprises and the latest innovative products they have to offer.
