FSSAI’s latest FoSTaC programme organised in Mumbai

The Hotel and Restaurant Association (Western India) – HRAWI organised FSSAI’s latest Food Safety Supervisor Training in Advance Catering (FoSTaC) at The Leela Mumbai - Resort Style Business Hotel. Held on March 30, 2026, the training session covered essential topics including food handling, hygiene, sanitation and waste management. Thirty-six hospitality professionals attended the training programme conducted by Divya Bhaskaran – Trainer of Parikshan. The attendees received practical insights on strengthening food safety measures, reinforcing industry best practices.

The training session was inaugurated in the presence of Bhaskaran, Sameer Sud - general manager, Sadashiv Bangera - head HR, Vivek Sukhija - F&B manager, chef Aungshuman Chakraborty - executive chef, Titasa Trivedi - training manager and Disha Ghag - hygiene manager of The Leela Mumbai - Resort Style Business Hotel. 

The programme is designed to promote a culture of food safety and to equip industry professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to uphold the highest standards in daily operations.
