Hindustan Foods has commenced operations for Phase-1 of its new ice cream manufacturing facility in Nashik, Maharashtra. This development marks a major milestone for the company as it strengthens its foothold in the ice cream segment, positioning itself as a preferred contract manufacturer within the industry.

The facility will focus on ramping up production and stabilising operations across a range of product categories, aligning with its strategy to cater to both legacy brands and new-age companies in the ice cream market. With the Nashik plant operational, it is poised to not only meet seasonal demand surges but also support long-term growth aims.

Manoj Patani, president of the Ice Cream Division at Hindustan Foods, expressed optimism about the new plant’s potential and the broader growth trajectory of the sector. He said, “We are thrilled with the momentum in our Ice Cream business as we gear up for the upcoming season. The confluence of rising urbanisation, growing disposable incomes, evolving consumer preferences and the rapid adoption of quick commerce is fuelling sustained double-digit growth across the sector.”
