IHG Hotels & Resorts expands Ahmedabad footprint

IHG Hotels & Resorts, one of the world’s leading hospitality companies, has announced the signing of a franchise agreement for Garner Hotel Ahmedabad Motera, further accelerating the growth of its newest midscale conversion brand in India. Scheduled to open in 2029, the 40-key hotel will be developed by Devpriya Buildcon and managed by United Hospitality Management (UHM) India, one of IHG’s trusted third-party hotel management partners in the country. The signing further strengthens the growing relationship between IHG and UHM as they continue to expand branded hospitality offerings across high-growth destinations in India.
Through its collaboration with IHG, UHM supports the company’s portfolio growth by bringing operational expertise, owner-focused management solutions and internationally branded hospitality experiences to key markets. The signing marks the first for the Garner brand in Ahmedabad and reflects continued owner confidence in the brand’s conversion-friendly model, as IHG expands across high-growth markets in India.
