IPEMA–Poultry India marked a strong and strategic presence at NOVACON 2026 – Conference on Innovation in Poultry, held alongside the 12th Kolkata International Poultry Fair (KIPF) 2026 held recently in Kolkata.

The IPEMA delegation was led by its President, Uday Singh Bayas, underscoring the association’s continued commitment to deepening industry collaboration, particularly in Eastern India. NOVACON 2026 featured an engaging seminar on February 10 with internationally reputed experts discussing advanced technologies, innovation-led practices, biosecurity frameworks, sustainability measures, and future-ready growth strategies. The conference highlighted resilience and sustainable expansion as key pillars for the Indian poultry sector.

The 12th Kolkata International Poultry Fair was inaugurated by West Bengal’s Minister for Animal Resources Development, Sapan Debnath, who lit the ceremonial lamp. The event was organised by the West Bengal Poultry Federation in association with the Animal Resources Development Department, Government of West Bengal, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators under one platform.

IPEMA–Poultry India set up an exclusive pavilion representing its member companies, emerging as a major networking and business hub during the fair. Twelve member companies showcased advanced technologies through individual stalls, while two participated under the IPEMA pavilion, demonstrating collective industry strength.

Addressing the gathering, Bayas expressed gratitude to the dignitaries and acknowledged the efforts of WBPF General Secretary Madan Mohan Maity in strengthening Poultry India’s regional engagement. He emphasised deeper collaboration, technology adoption, and unified growth strategies to enhance competitiveness.

He also invited stakeholders to participate in the 18th edition of Poultry India Expo 2026, scheduled from November 25–27, 2026, at HITEX Exhibition Centre, Hyderabad.

IPEMA’s participation reflects its focus on innovation-driven practices, sustainable and biosecure production systems, and strengthening India’s position in the global poultry industry.
