Jubilant FoodWorks, the operator of Domino’s Pizza and Popeye’s in India and neighbouring markets, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Coca-Cola India. The MoU outlines the principal terms and conditions for the company to procure a portfolio of sparkling beverages and other products from its authorised bottlers.
The partnership also includes conducting marketing activities for these beverages in the ordinary course of business. The MoU is set to transition into a formal master agreement on April 1, 2025, after which its bottlers will officially supply beverages to the company. The collaboration is expected to enhance JFL’s consumer offerings through Coca-Cola’s popular product lineup, including Coca-Cola, Thums Up, Sprite, Fanta, and others.
This development follows Jubilant Bhartia Group's strategic investment in Hindustan Coca-Cola Holdings, the parent company of Coca-Cola's largest bottler in India. Earlier this month, Jubilant Bhartia Group acquired a 40 percent stake in Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages through Jubilant Beverages. This move aligns with the company’s broader strategy to deepen its beverage partnerships and streamline its supply chain. Notably, this collaboration marks a shift in the competitive landscape.
