JW Marriott Bengaluru to host beer festival and curate Italian menu

JW Marriott Bengaluru’s open-air poolside restaurant, Spice Terrace, will host a beer festival between 11am and 11:45pm till June 12, 2019, and Alba, the hotel’s fine dining restaurant, has curated a menu, Modern Italian Flavours.

The line-up at Spice Terrace’s beer festival comprises such brands as Kingfisher, Bira, Budweiser, Heineken and Corona.

Patrons can pick their favourites - Kingfisher Ultra and Premium, Sol, Leffe and Hoegaarden - in buckets or otherwise, accompanied by Indian kebabs and other authentic snacks.

Modern Italian Flavours at Alba
Modern Italian Flavours is an array of fresh interpretations reflects the modern approach the restaurant, known for redefining contemporary Italian classics, has taken to elevate the overall dining experience.

The menu - which comprises both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, and is available both as a set menu and a la carte - echoes the farm-to-fork concept with dishes like Baby Beets Buratta Salad, Smoked Watermelon, Seasonal Melon Mango Gazpacho, Spinach Casoncelli Caramelized Onion, Buffalo Mozzarella Pine Nuts Ravioli, Seared Polenta Zucchini Sauce, Pizza Verde and Aspagarus Panna Cotta, among other signature dishes.

To retain the authenticity of the fresh produce, everything is carefully sourced from Madhavi Farms situated in the outskirts of Bengaluru. The fresh organic greens and vegetables complement each other so well that have translated into the signature dishes of Alba’s chef, Mohammad Eliyaz, who carries forward the hotel’s sustainable dining concept through his modern twists of flavours.

Adding to the list of must-tries are the Asparagus Avocado, Grilled Prawn Mango, Ligurian Uncle’s Seafood Broth, Simple Spinach Risotto, Sage Pappardelle Baby Lamb Ragu, Tortelloni Chicken Mousse, Thyme Roasted Seabass, 36 Hours Cooked Pork Belly, Pounded Chicken Milanese, Spicy Pork Diavola, Gamberi Funghi, Basil Sorbet, Beets and Goat Cheese Sorbet and Classical Tiramisu.
