Kampai celebrates 7 years with Delhi’s first customer co-created Japanese menu

Kampai, one of Delhi’s most loved modern Japanese restaurants under TasteShop Pvt. Ltd., is celebrating its seventh anniversary in a truly innovative way by unveiling the city’s first-ever customer co-created menu. This milestone not only marks seven years of redefining Japanese dining in the capital but also ushers in a new, community-driven approach to culinary creativity.

For its 7th year, Kampai invited its loyal patrons to take part in shaping the new menu. The restaurant’s culinary team, led by Kampai’s expert chefs, hosted exclusive tasting sessions with 10 prominent food enthusiasts and collected feedback from regular diners through review sheets over the past year. The result is a vibrant, feedback-inspired menu that blends authenticity with innovation.

The refreshed menu maintains Kampai’s Japanese essence while adding playful Asian and fusion elements. Highlights include inventive creations such as Sushi Tacos, Sandos, Crispy Nori Bites, Prawn Sesame Toast, and Cornets, each elevated with house-made sauces and Japanese condiments. The dessert section also shines, featuring the theatrical Pull-Up Cake, the soft Cotton Cheesecake, and the long-awaited Mochi in three signature flavours. With dishes starting at Rs 500, the menu is designed for sharing and celebration.

“Seven years have been an incredible journey of growth, creativity, and community. This new menu is a reflection of everyone who has been a part of Kampai’s story from our chefs to our guests. It’s as much theirs as it is ours,” said Avantika Sinha Bahl, founder of Kampai.

With its minimalist, luxe interiors inspired by Japanese design, Kampai continues to offer an elegant dining experience at its Aerocity (Worldmark 1) and DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj outlets. As Kampai steps into its next chapter, its new menu stands as a testament to how collaboration and customer connection can redefine fine dining in India.
