Falak, renowned as one of the finest North Indian dining destinations at The Leela Bhartiya City, is set to transport Bengaluru to the bustling streets of Old Delhi with "Riwaayat Ka Zaika." This exclusive culinary event, running from June 24 to June 30, promises a journey through India's rich traditions, curated by the esteemed Karim’s Kitchen. Spearheaded by Chef Farman Ali, hailed as The Last of The Great Chefs, and chef himself, this gastronomic experience promises meticulously crafted dishes that vividly recount India's timeless tales, offering diners a cultural odyssey like no other.

"Riwaayat Ka Zaika," meaning “The Taste of Tradition," is where two culinary legacies unite, Masterchef Farman Ali’s five decades of expertise meets a century-old tradition from the Mughlai kitchens. Mughlai grandeur blends seamlessly with Awadhi finesse, weaving flavours that echo tales of emperors and lavish feasts. Beyond a meal, it's a voyage through time, honouring recipes cherished for generations, each dish a masterpiece transporting you to an era where food was an art of splendid celebration.

Expressing his excitement on the event, the chef said, "Riwaayat Ka Zaika embodies more than just exquisite flavours; it is a profound journey through India's illustrious culinary heritage. Chef Farman Ali and I, driven by a shared passion for preserving tradition, are thrilled to unveil this exceptional collaboration. Drawing from over five decades of culinary mastery, I am honoured to bring the legacy of Karim’s Kitchen to Bangalore, where Mughlai grandeur meets Awadhi finesse in a symphony of flavours. Together, we aim to transport diners to an era of emperors and opulent feasts, where every dish tells a story passed down with love and dedication. This pop-up isn't merely about food; it's about reviving history and celebrating the artistry of Indian cuisine, ensuring each bite resonates with the essence of our cultural richness."

Riwayat Ka Zaika’s culinary flair aims to evoke the unforgettable flavours of the lanes of Chandni Chowk, from the iconic crunch of golden parathas to the tantalising dance of chaat on the tongue. Signature dishes like Chicken Jahangir, Mutton Qurma, Reshmi Seekh Kebab, Mutton Jahangiri, Badam Pasanda, and Karim Roll encapsulate the secrets of age-old traditions and techniques that have withstood the test of time. The chef’s masterful creations promise to ignite cherished memories with every bite.
