Following an overwhelming response to its debut, KOKO Bengaluru and Hapusa Himalayan Dry Gin are bringing back The Bitter People's Club for its second edition on July 17, 2026. For the first time, the experience will be open to the public through a ticketed format, inviting guests to come together for an evening of expertly crafted cocktails, engaging conversations, interactive experiences, and a specially curated menu by KOKO.

Hosted by Anand Virmani, Founder of Hapusa Himalayan Dry Gin, The Bitter People's Club is built around a simple yet relatable idea: life's everyday frustrations are often best shared over a perfectly balanced Negroni. More than a gathering to vent, the evening is designed to foster genuine connections through humour, storytelling, and thoughtfully curated experiences, transforming shared moments into memorable conversations.

The evening will begin with a welcome Gin and Tonic, setting the tone for an immersive cocktail experience. Guests will then participate in a guided DIY Negroni-making session, discovering the art of balancing botanicals, bitters, and flavour behind one of the world's most iconic cocktails. Throughout the evening, a signature Hapusa Negroni will be served alongside hosted games and interactive experiences designed to spark conversation and encourage connection among guests.

Complementing the cocktails is a specially curated menu showcasing some of KOKO's signature dishes. The menu features favourites including the KOKO Golden Maki with white asparagus tempura and truffle cream cheese, Wild Salmon and Truffle Roll, Prawn and Lemongrass Dumplings, Lantern Chicken, Peking Duck with Pancake, Japanese Curry Bowl, and Dan Dan La Mian—each thoughtfully selected to pair with the evening's cocktail offerings.

With its second edition, The Bitter People's Club continues to celebrate the collaboration between KOKO Bengaluru and Hapusa Himalayan Dry Gin, bringing together exceptional cocktails, contemporary Asian cuisine, and meaningful conversation in a distinctive social experience. Whether arriving with friends or meeting fellow cocktail enthusiasts over the course of the evening, guests can expect to leave with new stories, new connections, and perhaps a lighter outlook than when they arrived.
