Locally sourced, seasonally inspired: Toast & Tonic monsoon menu

The new, limited-time monsoon menu at Toast & Tonic Bengaluru, available from July 15, showcases the best the season has to offer. Think crispy fritters, spicy noodles, a hot bowl of wonton soup, and a warm apple cake. It’s like a big, warm hug on a rainy day.

The menu features locally sourced ingredients, ensuring both freshness and sustainability. They have procured ingredients like Bandel cheese from West Bengal, Jowar flakes from Maharashtra, and ragi from the South, incorporating them into dishes in fun and unique ways, which is their forte at Toast & Tonic.

Start with the Corn & Lotus Root Fritters, served with a house-made sweet chilli sauce and BBQ rub. Next, enjoy the Green Scallion Pancake, made with ragi sourdough batter, house-made kimchi, and soy & sesame sauce. Warm up with a bowl of hearty Chicken Wonton Soup, featuring Bhavnagri chilli oil, light chicken broth, and bok choy. The Lamb Sliders are truly succulent, complemented by Andouille sausage, pickled cucumber, cilantro crema, and jalapeño. The crunch of the Crab Croquettes, with pickled onions, a jowar flake crust, and dill aioli, a balance of flavour and texture. Finally, delight in the Pork Teriyaki Noodles, combining Bandel cheese, bacon, pork belly, and flat rice noodles for a truly satisfying experience.

The menu also features an enticing selection of signature cocktails. Experience the cosy warmth of The Irish Kiss, a blend of Irish whiskey, cinnamon whiskey, fresh lime, apple juice, and wild honey syrup. For a refreshing change, savour the Honey Punch, crafted with gin, cranberry juice, rosemary, thyme, honey, and lime. Take a nostalgic sip with the Miss Caramella, featuring gin, homemade popcorn and caramel syrup, fresh lime, and tonic. Indulge in a tropical escape with the Cloudy Collins, a mix of gin, fresh pineapple, green pepper, muddled with homemade thyme cordial, and topped with tonic. Lastly, enjoy The Wild Wild Citrus, a delightful concoction of Irish whiskey, honey, and fresh lime, boiled with dehydrated citrus fruits.

For dessert, dig into the comforting Warm Dutch Apple Cake accompanied by plum compote, sour cherry gel, brandy snap, vanilla crumble, and salted caramel ice cream. This exquisite combination of flavours and textures provides a perfect wrap to your monsoon dining experience at Toast & Tonic.
