UAE-based Lulu Group International will set up modern food processing and logistic centres in Andhra Pradesh.
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu during a meeting with the company's chairman Yusuff Ali in Amaravati discussed plans for a mall and multiplex in Vizag, hypermarket and multiplexes in Vijayawada and Tirupati, along with commitment to food processing sector-focused investment across the state.
The company will start an international-standard shopping mall with eight-screen IMAX multiplex in Vizag, as well as set up modern food processing and logistic centres in the State.
With an annual turnover of $8 billion, the group has business presence in hypermarket operations to shopping mall development, manufacturing, hospitality assets, and real estate. It currently operates in 25 countries.
