Molson Coors Beverage Company extends UK distribution partnership with DHL Tradeteam
Monday, 20 January, 2025, 08 : 00 AM [IST]
London, UK
DHL’s specialist drinks logistics arm, Tradeteam, has been appointed by Molson Coors Beverage Company in a new ten-year distribution contract for its UK on-trade channel.

The new contract will see its Tradeteam continue to be responsible for the company’s secondary distribution services, delivering to thousands of hospitality outlets across UK. The contract will continue to drive high levels of customer service whilst ensuring efficiencies are leveraged across stock, warehouse and transport operations.

With extensive experience providing optimised logistics solutions to the on-trade industry, it is well-positioned to deliver against the company’s growth and sustainability strategy. This will include adoption of alternative fuels, to further cut carbon emissions, and network optimisation, to support additional delivery volume.

Fraser Thomson, chief supply chain officer for Western Europe at Molson Coors, said, “Extending this long-term partnership with DHL Tradeteam reinforces our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our customers with a shared ambition to operate more sustainably, optimising our distribution network and exploring innovations to reduce our carbon footprint. This new level of collaboration will enable us to improve efficiency across our network, and have the ability to integrate additional volume and drive forward improvements over the long-term.”

Gavin Murdoch, MD, DHL Supply Chain, Network Transport Solutions, UK & Ireland, said, “We are delighted to continue our journey with Molson Coors and help the company achieve its long-term goals. It is a testament to what focus and dedication to great service can achieve, and we look forward to maintaining a supply chain that’s robust, efficient, and has the agility to meet the future needs of the on-trade.”
