These accolades further establish the brand’s commitment to premium scotch and reinforce its reputation as the most awarded blended scotch whisky in the world.

The World Whiskies Awards, organised by Drinks Report, are the global awards known for celebrating the finest internationally recognised styles of drinks. Whereas the San Francisco World Spirits Competition is the oldest and largest competition of its kind, attracting participants from across the globe.

Launched in March 2019, the Scotch series pays homage to the brand's signature double-aging process utilised across the entire portfolio, innovated to create a unique four stage ageing process for ultimate smoothness, which is the core of the Double Double series. The Double Double 21-year-old is finished in Oloroso sherry casks, and the blend delivers subtle notes of cinnamon and ripe vine fruits with a smooth finish.

Vijay Dev, consumer marketing lead, Whiskies at Bacardi India, said, “We’re thrilled by the recognition. The Dewar’s Double Double range/series has received significant acknowledgments from two prestigious platforms, and as we say, double is better! We can’t wait to introduce it to India and give our consumers an exceptional range of whiskies in addition to our existing Dewar’s portfolio in the country.”

Adding to her list of achievements, Stephanie Macleod has received the master blender of the year for the third time at the International Scotch Whisky Competition 2021. Speaking about the laurels, she said, “Our Dewar’s Double Double series continues to exceed expectations. We are elated by these recognitions for the series and will continue to innovate within our portfolio of the smoothest Scotch blends.”
