With National Dessert Day falling on October 14, restaurants in Mumbai and Goa are highlighting signature desserts that cater to a range of tastes, from warm chocolate indulgences and refreshing fruit-based creations to creamy cheesecakes and citrus-infused bakes.

EVE, Sorena, Que Sera Sera and Deck 88 at The Astor Goa are marking the occasion with desserts that showcase different flavours, textures and styles. The offerings include a sizzling brownie, lychee silky yogurt, San Sebastian cheesecake and Portuguese Orange Cake.

At EVE, with outlets in Powai, Worli and Santacruz, the Sizzling Brownie is a highlight for chocolate lovers. The dessert combines the rich flavour of a brownie with a sizzling presentation, offering a warm and indulgent finish to a meal. The restaurant operates from noon to 1 am.

At Sorena in Bandra West, the Lychee Silky Yogurt offers a lighter alternative to rich, baked desserts. Combining the fruity sweetness of lychee with the smooth, creamy texture of silky yogurt, the dessert delivers a refreshing balance of flavours. Sorena is open daily from noon to 1:30 am.

Que Sera Sera in Andheri West features its San Sebastian Cheesecake for the occasion. Recognised for its caramelised top and rich, creamy centre, the cheesecake offers contrasting textures and a distinctive flavour profile. The restaurant operates daily from 9 am to 1 am.

Meanwhile, Deck 88 at The Astor Goa in Candolim presents its Portuguese Orange Cake, a moist almond-based cake infused with the flavour of fresh Malta oranges. Combining nutty richness with bright citrus notes, the dessert offers a distinctive finish inspired by Portuguese baking traditions. Deck 88 operates round the clock.

The four offerings reflect the variety of dessert experiences available across Mumbai and Goa, catering to diners seeking everything from familiar chocolate-based favourites to fruit-forward and European-inspired creations as restaurants mark National Dessert Day.
