Mumbai’s Farzi Cafe to mark Ramzan with Nizami Food Festival from May 25

Farzi Café will mark Ramzan with the Nizami Food Festival, which will commence at the chain’s three Mumbai outlets (Kamala Mills, High Street Phoenix and Oberoi Mall) on May 25, 2018. The spread, which will comprise soups, main course and desserts, will be available for lunch (from noon onwards) and dinner (from 7pm onwards).
Meat lovers may indulge in the exclusively-curated menu comprising dishes like Shikampuri Kebab, Sheermal sponge, Mint Pesto, Pather Ke Kebab, Dum Ke Kebab, Darbari Chicken Handi, Shahi Haleem Risotto and Keema Aamras Croquets with crispy coin paratha.
Dishes like Badam Aur Akhrot Ki Tikki, Paneer Pakeeza with Gongura Pickle Mayo, Paneer Bagh-E-Bahar Lasagna and Hyderabadi Shahi Mix Veg Ratatouille served with whole-wheat bread form a part of the vegetarian menu.
Dessert lovers may take their pick from Qubani Meetha ka Tart, textures of exotic fruit platter, Irani Chai Crème Brulee with Osmania Biscuit, etc.
Speaking on the festival, Zorawar Kalra, founder and managing director, Massive Restaurants Pvt, Ltd, said, “Nizami cuisine includes a wide variety of dishes and it is one of the most preferred cuisines in our country.”
“Nizami cuisine is a rich mélange of bold flavours, tantalising spices and an array of local influences. With a strong culinary heritage, this cuisine is a blend of tradition and novelty,” he added.
