Although international condiments have become more accessible in India in recent years, there remained a significant gap for Indian hot sauces and pantry staples. Recognising this opportunity, three food enthusiasts Mikhel Rajani, Arjun Rastogi, and Kshitij Neelakantan founded Naagin with a clear vision to elevate everyday meals into culinary experiences packed with flavour.

The brand offers four authentic Indian hot sauces with varying levels of heat, made with different chillies such as Sankeshwari, Kanthari, Bhut Jolokia, Byadgi and Lavangi. The brand has also expanded its product range to include other pantry essentials like chilli flakes, chilli oil, and pizza and pasta sauce.

Besides being delicious, the brand is committed to fair, ethical, and direct sourcing from farmers using blockchain technology. It celebrates the diversity of Indian chillies by using high-quality, fresh produce with zero nasties (yes, that means no artificial colours, additives, or fillers) for a clean and flavourful experience. Prioritising sustainable and responsible growth, it even ensures plastic neutrality by funding the recycling of plastic waste equivalent to what it creates.

The brand has a strong retail and distribution chain, with presence in over 700 premium retail locations in major Indian cities. It is also making waves internationally with Amazon in USA and UK, Walmart in Canada, Carrefour in UAE, and through exports to Singapore. The brand has collaborated with major brands and HoReCa chains such as Biggies Burger and BrewDog, with more associations in the pipeline. These milestones reflect the brand's commitment to quality, innovation, and sustainability, driving its evolution in the global market.
