Nara Thai has introduced Curry Shop, a new menu that explores the diverse curry traditions of Thailand’s northern and southern regions. Available from August 7, 2026, at Nara Thai, Worli, the menu brings together curries, noodle bowls, small plates, desserts and cocktails inspired by regional recipes and culinary traditions from across the country.

The new menu seeks to move beyond the familiar repertoire often associated with Thai cuisine and spotlight lesser-known regional specialities. Drawing on the distinct ingredients, cooking techniques and flavour profiles of different parts of Thailand, Curry Shop offers diners an introduction to the country’s diverse culinary landscape.

The menu highlights the contrasting culinary identities of Thailand’s regions. Southern Thai curries are characterised by bold, aromatic flavours, fresh turmeric and coconut, while Northern Thai cuisine features fragrant herbs and comforting spice blends.

The small plates section includes Lotus & Betel Leaves with Thai Herbs, Hat Yai Fried Chicken Wings with Spicy Sauce, Dried Fried Prawns with Sweet Tamarind Sauce and Fried Pomfret with Chilli Lime Sauce.

The curry and noodle selection features Southern Curry Bowl, Tom Yum Noodles, Massaman Potato Curry with Smoked Coconut Rice, Massaman Lamb Curry with Smoked Coconut Rice and Seabass Fillet in Yellow Curry. The dishes showcase varied regional flavour profiles and traditional combinations of spices, herbs, coconut and aromatic ingredients.

For dessert, the menu includes Pandan Toast, Coconut & Pandan Pudding and Kaffir Lime Milk Cake. The accompanying cocktail selection features Khao Niao Bliss, Green Tuk Tuk, Siam Spice, Coriander Coast, Karabi Kiss and Som-O Saza, incorporating ingredients such as pandan, kaffir lime, Thai basil, mango, pomelo and coconut.

Commenting on the menu, Chef JC, Global Executive Chef, Nara Thai, said, “Ask someone in Thailand what curry tastes like and the answer will depend entirely on where they grew up. That's what fascinated us while creating Curry Shop. The menu brings together recipes from different parts of the country, each shaped by its own ingredients, traditions and way of building flavour. Our role wasn't to reinvent them, it was to respect them and present them as they were meant to be experienced.” Nara Thai launches Curry Shop.
