NHC Foods, a food processing company, reported a robust set of financial results for the quarter ended December 31, 2025, marking significant improvement across key performance metrics. The company’s net profit climbed 27 per cent to Rs 2.64 crore in the third quarter compared to Rs 2.08 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year, reflecting stronger profitability driven by higher volumes and better efficiencies.
Revenue from operations saw a substantial 76 per cent year-on-year increase, rising to Rs 129.20 crore from Rs 73.36 crore in Q3 FY25. The sharp rise in turnover was primarily attributed to expanded market reach and improved sales execution across the company’s product lines.
In light of the strong quarterly performance, NHC Foods’ board approved a fund-raising plan of up to USD 27 million (approximately Rs 225 crore) through the issuance of equity or equity-linked instruments. The capital is expected to support the company’s strategic expansion initiatives, including scaling operations and tapping new market segments.
Commenting on the results, NHC Foods Managing Director Satyam Joshi said, “The third quarter reflects the strength of our execution, with robust revenue growth driven by higher volumes and improved market reach. This underscores the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance its footprint in the competitive food processing landscape and strengthen its operational foundation.”
The Q3 performance highlights NHC Foods’ ability to navigate industry challenges while capitalising on demand growth in the food segment. With the approved fund-raising plan, the company is positioning itself for accelerated growth and further enhancement of its product portfolio and distribution network in coming quarters.
Overall, the quarterly results demonstrate improved financial health, strategic focus on expansion, and strong execution capabilities — factors that could strengthen NHC Foods’ market presence in the evolving food processing industry.
